Self-Defined Style:
Belgian White
Strength (ABV):
4.6% ABV

Our version of a Belgian classic, brewed with wheat malt and spiced with coriander and orange peel. Pours a beautiful hazy blond-gold with a thick pearly white head. The nose is yeasty with a light aroma of fruit and spice. This beer is as crisp and refreshing as the aroma implies, with the wheat malt supplying a full, somewhat sweet background to the orange and coriander flavor. Spritzy carbonation lifts the sweetness to lend a crisp finish. A great beer for a warm summer day.

Best With:
Great with Belgian moules frites (steamed, buttered mussels and French fries) or charcuterie. The crisp carbonation in our White can cut through even the richest, creamiest dishes.

A smoked wit??

Yup.

Researching smoked beers led me to a world of smoked wheat beers. I didn't find anything about smoked wit beers, but decided to experiment a bit (what with wit being a wheat beer).

Pictured on the label is Long Island's old Walt Whitman, enjoying a smoke and a book in what was purported to be his favorite spot in his native West Hills (near Melville, Long Island).

Blanche du Paradis is a Belgian-style Wit brewed with coriander seeds and Curaçao orange peels, the spices traditionnally found in this classic style. Unfiltered and containing almost as much raw wheat as malted barley, it presents a veil of yeast and proteins giving this style its "Blanche" name. Round and light at the same time, it exhales fresh baked bread aromas, and reveals spices and citrus flavours, accompanied by subtle notes of acidity coming from the wheat.

This beer is available only in our 12-bottle mix case called "Discovery brews"

Witbier / Lager
Strength (ABV):
4.8% ABV

WHY?
Inedit is the first beer specifically created to accompany food. It is born from the conviction that a beer that could be paired with the utmost respect to the best cuisine was necessary. That is its aim and its virtue, and that is what makes Inedit different, special and unique.

WHAT IS IT?
Inedit is a unique coupage of barley malt and wheat with hop, coriander, orange peel, liquorice, yeast and water.

WHO HAS CREATED IT?

Best With:
Made to accompany the festival of flavours modern cuisine offers us. For Sommeliers trying to accomodate different types of flavours has always been a nightmare… now there is a solution! With its delicate, sophisticated bubbles this beer can take acidic, sweet and sour flavours by the hand. the symphony of flavours in each dish is different, but there can be a common thread capable of unifying them all, for a sense of continuity so there is no need to switch drinks. This beer has a rich and highly adaptable bouquet. In other words a unique personality: smooth yet complex.

A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON THE CLASSIC WITBIER STYLE. Samuel Adams Imperial White is a new perspective on the classic witbier style. Witbiers are normally light and refreshing with a fruity finish and we wanted to see how these characteristics would stand up when we amped up the recipe. The result? We were totally blown away by the flavors that were created by this beer.

Best With:
The unique floral and fruit-like aromas in the Imperial White pair well with creamier soft rind cheeses - Camembert, Brie or Robiola. These cheeses have the variety of intense flavors that will match the unique taste of the Imperial White. Imperial White is really a versatile beer when it comes to pairing with food. Its wheat and cereal-like flavors can easily complement a savory roasted chicken with lemon and pepper. Or the spices in the beer can match the intensity of a curry dish or thai cuisine.
