Tokyo is also the strongest beer we have ever made.It is a 18.2% imperial stout brewed with jasmine and cranberries added in the kettle.

After fermentation we dry hop the beer with a combination of North American and New Zealand Hops.Furthermore we then age this beer for 4 weeks on toasted vanilla French oak chips.

Best With: 
The roasted and burnt malt notes of stout and its typical hearty nature make it an exceptional compliment to raw or steamed oysters, however stout is also at home with most chocolate or cream based desserts.

The idea for the Harpoon 100 Barrel Series Island Creek Oyster Stout came after years of enjoying locally harvested oysters over freshly brewed pints of beer with our friends from Island Creek. Stouts have long been paired with oysters, though seldom brewed with them. This is our take on the age-old tradition.

Finally! Black Hole is what Mikkeller is all about. Daring, vulgar and extreme. From the very beginning Mikkeller's goal has been to push the limit and with this warming, intense imperial stout, a new chapter in the Danish beer history has been written. The high bitterness from the hops and the sweetness from the malt and alcohol, creates a good balance which makes Black Hole an explosion of nuances, but also leaves a feeling of a perfect and complex beer in the heavyweight category.

Sea Monster Imperial Stout is a new version of an old favorite. This hearty stout is black as the abyss and clocks in at a whopping 10% ABV, a real monster. The flavors of roasted coffee and bittersweet chocolate are complamented by a velvety smoothness from the addition of un-malted barley and oats. Colombus and Amarillo hops help to balance out the huge malt character of this flavor bomb. Be careful the alcohol is well hidden and will sneak up on you if you don’t watch out. Like most scary monsters, it can be a little intimidating, but have no fear.

Belhaven Brewery is proud to announce that Belhaven Scottish Stout has received top marks from the Beverage Testing Institute (BTI) in their 2008 World Beer Championships Awards.

The deluxe handcrafted stout at 7%, was awarded its top rating - 96 points and a Platinum Medal - in the 'Strong Stout' category.

This velvety stout pours black with a creamy tan head. Toffee and coffee aromas in this hearty ale are perfectly balanced. Lightly hopped, the flavor is full of the roasted malts and finishes with very low sweetness. A very smooth beer, it is the perfect way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day...whether you're Irish or not.

Best With: 
Goes well with dark chocolate (as long as it's not too sweet), as well as many grilled entrees, which compliment the roasted flavors of the dark malts. Ideal serving temp: 55-57° F.
