Our American Pale Ale is golden in color, mildly bitter, and characterized by floral/citrus-like aromatics which are the result of an additional 2 week dry hopping with a very large amount of Cascade Hops.

Crisp, crystal clear, and completely enjoyable.

American cuisine. Mild spice. BBQ, steaks, philly, hamburger.

Anchor's Humming Ale was brewed in San Francisco on August 13, 2009, 113 years after our founding and thirty years to the day since the first brew in our new brewhouse.

Humming is an ancient term, used centuries ago to describe both ales and beers. Although its origins are shrouded in mystery, it seemed the perfect fit for a new product from an established company celebrating the 30th anniversary of the first brew in our "new" brewery. From the very day of that first brew we were humming!

For the 28th session of the Harpoon 100 Barrel Series, we’re celebrating this year’s hop harvest with Glacier Harvest Wet Hop beer, a pale ale made with fresh Glacier hops.

Wet hop beers are brewed using fresh, “wet” hops instead of traditional dried hops—hops contain about 60% moisture when they are first picked.

Named after the cream colored bricks used to build Milwaukee, this amber pale ale is tasty year round. Pours a light amber with a frothy, stable white head. The light citrus, grapefruit nose comes from American hop varieties, while caramel malts lend a backbone to their crisp, balanced bitterness. Finishes smooth with mild hop flavor.
