Self-Defined Style:
American Style Red Ale Batch #6 is an American Style Red Ale. This classic is chestnut in color and medium in body. We added a few extra hops to make it interesting.
Best With:
This assertively hoppy red ale would pair extremely well with spicier brown-sauce Chinese cuisine or zestier Thai dishes. Batch #6 is also right at home with grilled red meats, particularly steak or burgers. User login

Olde Richmond Batch #6 - A Beautiful Red Ale
Aroma: Nutty, bready, and slightly pine-like. Hints of cedar and mild fruitiness.
Appearance: Warm reddish amber hues, a rich, frothy head that lingers for quite a while, and bright clarity.
Flavor: Pleasant, caramel laced malt character gives way to assertive hop bitterness that lingers in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, well balanced, prickly carbonation.
Overall Impression: Overall, this is a great example of the American Red Ale style - among the more aggressively hopped, which makes Olde Richmond #6 stand out. This will definitely be a regular in my fridge.
Comments: Sampled in a 22 oz. bomber bottle poured into a chalice. The bottle has a beautiful, heat treated painted label. Simple, yet very elegant.
